Stopped by a Starter! 200 1986

The Old Grey Mare won't start. I hear the starter spinning away ... my Haynes says time to replace it. I checked the local boneyard and am getting one from a 90 wagon (only 86k on the engine)I pick, they pull ...

Last night I jacked up the Mare got under her and saw the two 19mm bolts looking as pretty as a prom debutante dressed for the beach in a cold December evening ... I digress ... It looked easy, but man, I cannot get them to budge.

How does one get them off? I am thinking of using a 550 ft-lb air gun but what do I do for a flex connnect extention? Do they make a spring type extension?

Incidently, the boneyard mechanic is yanking the engine to grab the starter for me, said it was easier for him.
