b20 short runner manifold 1800

Either, really. The carb end just needs to mount to a DCOE style manifold. I say DCOE but I don't know who really started it - Weber DCOE's, Dellorto's, Solex's and even newer injection throttle bodies all use this common carb/manifold interface.

I have a short one with a cast bridge between the sides - but the bridge is solid (unlike the SU manifolds which have a small connection between the two sides to help even out the idle should the carbs get unbalanced). I doubt anyone ever uses the short ones for performance reasons (other than mistakenly) but instead for clearance reasons. They tuck the carbs in closer to the engine and as far as I know also tilt them upwards slightly. Long ones wouldn't fit in the nose of my PV, and based on comments here I gather the upward tilt helps the carbs clear the steering column on RHD cars.

I'm not sure about the fit on an 1800 with long straight style manifolds.
