Loss of power just off idle 200 1989

1989 244 167K

I am experiencing a loss of power when attempting to accelerate from a stop. If you feather the throttle it will finally start to increase speed. From there it runs fine. It does not do it all the time but does do it more in damp weather. It has the 951 ECU. Cap and wires are relatively new.

I haven't changed the rpm sensor on this car and know I should but this doesn't seem like a problem originating there.

Any insight? Thanks
