Hard Starting 120-130

I have a 1964 Volvo 122S. Original B18, I've installed a Crane electronic ignition (IPD), have NGK BP7HS plugs in the car (just installed yesterday). The NAPA guy said these were alittle hotter than the others that were in the car. The reason for the plug change is that lately the car doesn't want to start. The engine turns over nice and strong but its like there is no spark. I'm running 30w Castrol oil. A friend thought I should try 10w40. Any ideas for this problem? In the pst the car would start RIGHTUP! Thanks everybody for this geat site!!!! Karl
