Wiper rack rebuild 200

There are dozens of places to buy a wiper motor for the windshield (windscreen) of my 1988 245 SW. That's not the problem. The problem is the rack is wailing, trying to seize. I've already tried PB Blaster, followed by silicon lube but it needs real work.

I want to replace the 16 year-old plastic and rubber parts, at least. (The arm attaches to a splined shaft which cleaned up easily. It looks like stainless steel.)

No one seems to sell a rebuilt rack nor a kit. Does anyone sell such a thing? Can a dealer get every small part for the wiper rack that I want?

Is this a case where everyone just goes to the salvage yard and tries to find a "less bad" one? With 16 year old parts, that's become less desirable every year.

All the best,
