Only One Bad Turn Signal - not bulb ??? 200 1990

Brickers,

Fixing a turn signal light sould be as easy as changing a bulb (as in "How many brickers does it take to change a turn signal bulb?").

That (changing the bulb)didn't work so I checked by switching the bulbs (in their holders) from side to side. Both bulbs and their holders work fine on the left rear, but neither works on the right side? All other turn signals work ok (left front, right front, left rear).

I am about to trace the right rear turn signal along the wire back to its source looking for a break (not very likely because it is protected in the body panels) but I thought I would first check with other Brickers to see if there is another explanation for the signal not flashing than an "open" in the circuit.

Any ideas?

Mike
