Installing 951 in place of 561 200

Hello,

I just got a nice 951 on e-bay for 64 dollars with shipping, good price huh?

Wonder if it works?

To put it in my 89 240, should I do anything special? Like check the fault codes first or unhook the battery to clear the system?

My 561 has worked faultlessly since I bought the car 2 years ago with 109K.

I was told the 951 is the ECU to have, so I have been watching for one. 561 is supposed to have weak ground or something in it. Mine has been fine.
