high beam indicator dash light stopped working 700 1990

I've been driving in the rain and the blue hi beam indicator light stopped working. I'm going to check it tomorrow when things dry out. This has never happened before. Has anyone out there had this problem, and if so, were you able to fix it? Thanks,
