Fuel pump question... 200 1978

I ordered a replacement fuel pump and accumulator for my 1978 245. I got the old ones out no problem, but there's a discrepincy between the new and old parts.
The accumulators match just fine, but the line that runs from the old pump to the accumulator comes out of the SIDE of the pump, whereas on the new pump it comes out of the END (ergo, when they're mounted on the pump harness under the car, they cannot be hooked together). The electrical supply for the pumps are also different-- the old one has a plug, the new one has two terminals on either side of the end of the pump.

Do I have the wrong pump?

And just in case I don't, can anyone reccommend a way to mount the pump and accumulator on the harness so they line up correctly?

Thanks!
