Need to know if I have wires on correctly for 240 dl 1985 volvo altenator 200

Okay, because I didn't feel like spending $300.00 for a rebuilt bosch altenator, and $70.00 for labor.
I went to a very reputable rebuilder in my area.

It took awhile with many colorful explicitives in the interim.
I want to know if I have wired the alternator up correctly.

The large (thick) red wire I put on the B+, or largest bolt, the smaller red one, I put on the D post, and the ground I placed on the lowest bolt near where the long bolt goes in to hold the bottom of the altenator in place.

My lights go on, but when I try to start it, it just tries once then the lights dim, so I need a jump, but before I go further, I want to make certain I have this thing wired up correctly. Hoping so and keeping fingers crossed at the same time!

Thanks to everyone who has responded before!

Jeanette who is trying to get Ambrose up and running again.
