Tie rod end questions 200 1986

Hello and a pleasant Sunday to you -

Saturday I was fortunate enough to find in a junkyard a 1990 240 with a dry and accessable power steering rack. My 1986 is a travelling fountain of ATF, so the rack was removed (with a lot of help from bcg) and brung home. It is still attached to the pump, the reservoir was broken so it was left behnd.

The tie rod ends on it feel quite snug. Moveable by hand but not sloppy. However, the rubber shields are far gone.

Q #1. Is it possible to install new rubber shields? If yes, where are they avaiable?

Q #2. If #1 is a NO, then new tie rod ends are appropriate. What brand or makes is the best? TRW? Moog? Volvo dealer?

Thank you for reading this, your help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Bob
