Speed sensor question 200 1990

As noted, the crank sensor has got nothing to do with speedometer indication.
Check the two-pin plug in the trunk or under-floor hatch area for a wagon, there is a grey cable coming through a plate in the floor. This has the wiring for the rear axle speed sensor in it. I've inadvertently unplugged this while working on sending units and in-tank fuel pumps.
