cam bearings, B20 1800

Good day.
My questions for today are:
1: what is the method to remove cam bearings from the block. They are the last item to be removed remove except for the oil gallery plugs which I don't seem to be able to budge with my 1/4 inch drive.
2: What is the method for installing new cam bearings?
3: Is it usual practice to replace cam bearings when a full overhaul is being done? As the block will be going out for hot tanking and reboring I suppose it is likely the cam bearings will be trashed in the process anyway if I leave them in. They seem to be in good shape though. If I can remove them prior to taking the block to the machine shop, can I safely reuse them or is that foolishness?
Thanks all:
JD
