Rust! -how big an issue in US? 120-130

My 122s ('67) has lived most of it's life in Northern Nevada. Salt on roads but not like the midwest... usually it snows on the mountains and rains (or does nothing) in the valleys like the almighty intended ;)

Typical floorboard rot (mostly driver's side... suspect wind wing left open a lot) and poorly repaired collision damage that resulted in accelerated rust to the snout and right fender (wing). Oh, and one hole in the right rear wheel house where the itty bitty finisher panel seperates it from the trunk (boot).

Mats have been "gooed", upholstery very dry at the tops of the seats, belts not dependable (UV very bad for seatbelts!!!), all the rubber is dry like the sahara (but oddly still sealing).

Suspension bushes turn to mush regularly, esp. the upper fronts, urethane good!

Mike!
