shift point at O/D? 200 1989

car is auto with O/D aw7x transmission, just did flush yesterday and atf level is normal.

I noticed driving today that car will shift to OD on or around 50mph. is this correct? I don't have an rpm guage on my dash. based on what I can gather, here are my shift points:

1-2 : 10mph
2-3 : 20-25mph
3-4 : 50mph

the shift is not hard, and sometimes barely noticeable. it's just going into 4th gear that I can sense a load on my engine. I've read about this kickdown cable and noticed there is red plastic adjustment nut on top and a couple of regular adjustment nuts below. I'm afraid to touch either. is the KDC the cure? this late shift (or this is what I think it is) after my rear seal/bushing change on the rear tranny. thanks.
