shift point at O/D? 200 1989

Mine won't shift into 4th until 60 MPH, and not at all when it's cold. Even warm, if I lift and slow down to 45 MPH, it drops out of OD. I haven't pulled the solenoid on the trans yet and cleaned it but that's my next guess. Both my 740s with AW71s will go into OD at 45 MPH with a light throttle. I've adjusted and checked the kickdown cable on mine. It's not binding, and even a severe adjustment of the cable had no effect on the OD engagement speed. I flushed my tranny as well but it didn't help much. I'm hoping I find a piece of crud stuck in the solenoid when I finally get around to cleaning it.
