740 Headlight Conversion 700

Yes and no on being the same. Your best bet would be to get a set of real E-Codes and forget the later USA composites. One the US lights get uglier over time thanks to the plastics breaking down in sunlight and two for some reason the little plastic inserts for the aiming setscrews manage to break at the wrong time. The lights themselves look like castoffs from some cheap far eastern inbread that was crossed with a character from Star Wars. Forget the USA composites and get a set of E-Codes that are marked correctly with "E1"
You will have no trouble mounting these to the car in the correct locations and if you get the harness its plug and play without any headaches. The last plus of the E-Codes is you can remove the front glass for cleaning and replacement glass is not that expensive unlike the plastics at $86.00 from Borton.

Click on my picture to the right of my name to look at my 760 with real E-Codes along with my sons 240 wagon, it however got torched thanks to Nokia exploding cell phone!
