Who has used a ODB code reader to reset service light?? S70 1998

Well I am in the same situation and so the time has come to build up the hardware for the code reader I purchased in bits from the U.K. (the built up hardware is also available).
I believe with the hardware completed and software from VOBD in the U.K. that I will be able not only to retrieve stored codes but to reset the service light. As a back-up to this I had a yarn to the service manager of the dealership where I purchase all the parts to service the car myself and he will reset the light for free if I bring in the car during a quiet time of the day! However as soon I can get around to it, I will get on to building up the hardware and let you know how it goes.

Cheers, Phil
