HELP! Vibrating Volvo 200 1975

I have a 1975 Volvo 245 stationwagon and the engine runs great from what I can see but the problem is when I put it in reverse or 1st gear and try to go even just a little bit the whole car starts shaking and vibrating. People who have watched me try to move it have told me they can even see the tires vibrating. It started doing that only 5 times after I started driving it (I just got it) but it was fine when I could drive it. The clutch was a little weird, though, I would have to hold the clutch for a little bit after I changed gears cuz it was a little slow. Also when it was drivable when I would accelerate from a stopped position it sounded like the idle was really high until I got to a steady speed. Thanks
