Virgil The Convertible? 444-544

Finally, the day arrived to put him down. The weather was pleasant and V2 was ready...and it was time. 21 Winters and my sole transportation was enough for this old boy and the only thing to do was to let him go. So I fired up the sawszall and went to work. I thought a convertible would be a nice look and I have always wanted one so Virgil became a convertible for an hour or so. Then I had to finish the job and cut him up. The axle was already in V2 and the engine went back into the 1972 1800ES from where it came. Virgil donated alot of parts and even more experience to help me develop V2 into my dream car. Satisfied with the result meant Virgil was truly replaced and his time was over. Goodbye Virgilthevolvo............. we had a great time.
