544 heater fan replacement options 444-544

Hello,
Its been snowing alot recently so the fan motor has found a new trick...screeching loudly in protest non-stop. It is the original electrolux. tried lubing it and cleaning up all the connections in hopes but no luck.
From looking at the archives the best options appear to be a 73 blazer motor or an 83 s10 motor, but both require modification/fabrication.
Has anyone else found an easier option?
I am planning on taking the motor to my local tractor place on friday for a match up (great success with the 122 this way), but why reinvent the wheel if someone has a good option.
