Fuel B21A SU Carb 200 1981

Read with interest the recent discussion on spark plugs with the B21A.

I note that it was assumed that high octane fuel is used (94 in Canada? Sunoco?)

Should this be the fuel used in such engines? I've had one tank of it since August; is the 87 octane I'm using going to give me problems?
