What's the name? 700

I recently had a problem on my 87 740. The Tach needle wud go up and down and eventually car wud stall. Replaced distributor, cap, rotor, spark plugs, spark plug cables, some dameged wire going to the coil and later what seemed to be the cause of the problem :bad Bosch part where 5 wires go into. It"s screwed on
the front fender, driver's side, next to the air cleaner box.As I was not able to fix the problem myself I had to take the car to a mechanic who replaced this
Bosch electric part. He charged me $90.00 for the job. My question is: What is the name for this part?
Tks
