horn blows sometime 200 1993

I have a 1993 station wagon and the horn work only when I press in the center. Is there any way I can clean the contacts without deploying the airbag?
How difficult is ths job? What are some of the neccessary precautions I need to take? What I could use to clean the contacts, if that what is required?
