brakes are dragging (sometimes)

Hmm, ok I'll take a stab. This is the part that confuses me:

"i jacked up the car when it did this and all 4 sides are pretty evenly pressuered, calipers are solid and mounted properly and pads are wearing evenly."

A few things:

- With dragging brakes you won't have them all grabbing uniformly.

- The cause of dragging brakes can be a frozen caliper piston, dry caliper sliders or deteriorating brake lines (insides collapse and do not allow fluid back into master cyl).
