Once again: a question about trailing arm bushings et al... 200 1987

Hello, all Volvo enthusiasts!

The time has come to replace the rear trailing arm bushings on my beloved Volvo. Now I’m in deep thoughts...
There are different sorts of these bushings. Do they differ in "softness"? Do they differ in quality? The rumor says that the aftermarket cheap bushings from ScanTech sold by IPD and FCP Groton are of very poor quality and durability. But what about the ones positioned as "Boge OEM bushings" sold by FCP too? Are they good?
Also a question… FCP sells some "sleeveless" URETHANE bushings. Are they soft? And how do they differ from the POLYURETHANE ones sold by IPD?
Has anybody rented that magic bushing-removal tool from IPD?
And the last question. My trusted mechanic proposed me $230 (labor + parts) for replacing the bushings. Is it a good price? Or is it worth buying bushings from IDP/FCP, rent this tool and do it yourself?

Thanks in advance.

Dmitriy.
