What model year turbo had the 591 ECU 700 1987

At the yard yesterday looking for a 591 ECU to upgrade my 541 on my 87 760T, I thought I'd found one on an '89 turbo but after pulling it out it was another 541.

Does anyone know what years had the 591 or was this a computer only built to replace older computers already installed?
