rear axle noise 140-160

The rear axle on my 74 144 makes a slight roaring noise on speeds in excess of 65 mph. Not loud, but irritating enough. To date, all the U-joints and support bearing has been replaced. Its somewhat lesser, but its still there. The rear axle is original, and has never been worked on, except for one or two oil changes over the decades. Anyone had this problem before? Thanks for your input in advance.
