Greasing sealed 960 front wheel bearing. 900

has anyone done this?i just did.i had a spare strut housing and decided to see if the bearing would pull off the stub,it did after just removing the 36mm nut.my original bearings have 215k on them and the drivers side(also came off as easy)had a slight amount of noise.
i took the spare 90k bearing off and the outside race just slides right out exposing the the ball bearings and with a grease needle i was able to inject the inside race.i didn't fill up the cavity, just enough to coat the bearings.i didn't spray out the old grease because there's rubber seals that i didn't want to damage.it went back together fine and tightened right back up.
the 215k bearing was dry and even had rust in it.just wondering if anyone has had any experience/problems doing this.replacements are pricey and if this works i'll do the passenger side.it was easier, quicker and cleaner than packing conventional bearings. this may extend the life of the bearing if done before a problem arises.
