780 stereo 700 1990

hello,

i have been reading some of the posts regarding the factory volvo stereos and am thoroughly confused. i have a 1990 780 that originally had a td 6146 in it. the rear amp was not working and therefore had no sound out of the rear speakers. i have since installed a cr 814, volvo cd changer and bought 2 more rear amps (ebay) and i still dont have the rear speakers working. i was surprised to learn that the cr 814 actually has an amp for the dash speakers (my car doesnt have dash speakers). can anyone tell me the correct way to wire this so that i get sound out of the back speakers? also, i am having illumination problems. it seems that the stereos are interchangeable according to what i have been reading here. any comments are appreciated. if someone can tell me where i can get a wiring diagram for this, i am near my wits end.
