Correct way to remove Fuel Filter on 82 Turbo 200

Hi all.....

Trying to replace the fuel filter in my 82 turbo up on the firewall...The fittings appear to be solidly stuck. I am assuming that 1st i should remove the fitting that goes straight into the filter connected to the rubber encased fuel line, then work on the fitting with the 90 degree bend.

Thinking of putting in some PB Blaster on both.

Also, the Bosch filter i got from FCP has 4 copper washers..looking at the filter on the car, I dont see that any wahsers were used....

all advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike
