Painting a grill 200

Hey eveyone,
I just found an '80 GT grill/fogs in the local wrecking yard (poor GT, if anyone has a 242 in socal and is going to scrap it, email me! ;-)) I need to paint the whole thing because the silver paint is peeling off. Does anybody know what color silver it's supposed to be? Also what kind of paint do I use? I searched the arcives, and most said to use krylon for plastic, but appartenly krylon doesnt make silver paint. I saw rustolium plastic primer, is this the way to go, prime it with that and use a "normal paint". This might be a stupid thought but, my other option is I have a mini "modeling" airbrush and can use model paint, or maybe run other paint through it. What would you guys recomend I use?
