brake lines siezed, help please 200

Hello bricksters!

I tried to unscrew the brake lines in order to change shocks on my '79 244Gl
but the thing just wouldn't go apart.Needles to say I managed to damage the
steel bolt thing that connects to rubber brake line..No success. It's still
tight together:)) I don't really care for the steel lines since I have the replacement but how the h*** can I separate them from the rubber lines?? Any experience??

I allso have difficulties removing the steering rack ends (don't know the word). I can't grab the screw so it turns when I try to unscrew.. The later ones are easier because they have space to place the wrench on top of them, well these doesn't. I was thinking about just welding a piece of metal in order to hold the screw in place.

Any answer/help would be appreciated!
