German 240 wagon/

I bought an '88 240 wagon at auction for $200. It will be about a $500 car when roadworthy. It was originally sold in Germany and had regular Volvo service up to 150,000 miles (180,000 on it now). I'm just curious if anyone has ever had a European car? Anything different? Better? Worse?

I also have an 85 240 sedan that will be heading to the junkyard soon, the body has severe cancer. Drive train is good, most of the front end trim is intact if anyone is looking for parts. Make an offer 'cuz I'll probably get $50 from the junkyard for it.

Let me know
