Whoever can solve this is a Volvo god. If anyone can make a suggestion that keeps my car stall free for a month, he/she will receive a $10 paypal incentive! As many of you know, my car has had a stalling problem for quite some time. The stalling is random, happens at any engine speed, any gear, whether I'm turning, going straight, braking, accelerating, at a standstill, it doesn't matter. I can alsways toss the car into neutral, turn the key to off, and then restart it on the fly, put it in gear, and keep going. Re-starts every time within seconds. It seems that turning the key to off before restarting might have something do to with it, because usually I can't just downshift, open the throttle, and let it bumpstart itself (although this sometimes works...) I've tried everything, and i'm completely out of ideas. Maybe one of you can think of something and save my car and my sanity!!!? Here is what I've done:

the only other thing I can think of is that maybe the knock sensor could be causing the stall? Or maybe (gasp) it's something mechanical inside the head??? I am so confused right now, I would have thought that the problem would definitely be solved after all of this.
I do have one other little clue- my car is no longer able to do a burnout because either the TQ or the first gear clutch is too screwed up to take the power. Anyway, if I try to do a burnout, and fail, and then turn off the car right afterward, it will not restart for hours, sometimes even a day. Odd?- I think it might be related to the stalling...
