There's nothing wrong with sniping. It's allowed by Ebay rules. Perhaps you personally don't like the practice but that doesn't make it problematic. If you want to win auctions, sometimes you have to snipe. If you don't believe in sniping because of some sort of moral or ethical code, don't do it, but don't bitch when you lose because you're not taking full advantage of the rules as they are written.

That being said, I wouldn't snipe an auction from a known Brickboarder if I could help it. I sniped a B20 Flex fan out of Walrus3's hands once and I felt kinda bad about it. I wouldn't even bid against another Brickboarder though because all I would be doing is driving the price up for one of us.

I think you're both out of line, You with your nasty letter to Byron, and Byron because he posted your private email in a public forum. Over a $15.00 seat. Sheesh.
