Please, recommend source for '95 960 transmission S90-V90

This car blew its original AT in the hands of the previous and original owner (a well know middle aged engineer, not a teenager hot shoe, or idiot or illiterate in things mechanical) when the ATF cooler in the radiator split open and coolant got into the AT. Local mechanics tell me this is very common. I can vouch it is true for each of the handfull of 960 I have seen. Right after the dealer put in a new AT from Volvo, ATF overheated and OBD1 showed code 235 as soon as I drove the car up a hill at 60 mph. I took the car back to the dealer several times because the new AT had been put in only a couple of months before I bought ther car. Best to forget what happened there. Despite the Volvo ATF cooler and Mobil 1 ATF, I killed AT in 20K miles. Searching the topic of Volvo transmissions in Internet, I have come across many complaints of cars going through several transmissions. Now Volvo dealers seem to have problems with remanufactured transmission out of Chicago. I am bewildered, because the AW30-40 AT is supposed to be reliable, at least when put in Lexus and Toyota cars.
