choke cables (1964 122S) 120-130 1964

Thanks to Joe M. and the web site he gave me I fixed my choke cables, they just needed alittle lubrication. My problem now is that I can't get the car to idle down. The choke is set for .250 or alittle less, the 2 adjustment screws ae backed off till they barely make contact with the lobe (choke), and the fast idle screw is barely touching also. Is it me or???I was going to check the synch of the carbs and couldn't get them to match or idle down, (didn't spend alot of time...more time tomorrow). Thanks in advance to all who know all! Karl
