Chainsaw blowe replacement without airflow loss 200 1984

im going to call up local electrical guys tomorrow and see if i can get it re wound, the person i spoke to today said that DC motors cant be rewound or soemthing but the internet (and brickboard) says differently.

If i have no luck findind someone to refurbish the motor i might get you to give me a quick rundown on the disassembly and cleaning :)
