idle problems 200 1992

Just wanted to add something because I was helping him work on it. The idle screw on the throttle body was how the PO set the idle higher. The car stalling when put into gear isn't a problem any more and I'm not sure what caused it anyway. We backed out that screw so the TB returns all the way closed. If I push the TB closed, after the gas is let off, it will close off and stall. The only way to get it to a reasonable idle is to push it closed, which you can't do from inside the car. This is also a DL without a tach, big or small, so we're just guessing at the rpm and having to reference by speed.

Cheers
