Replacing bad AC Compressor 200

I'm currently researching different alternative gas mixtures to R134a for my A/C system ('91 240). Also looking for info on a good quality compressor that will last more than a couple of years (Nippon Denso?). So far I came across something called "MacFreeze" which I am assuming is the 60% propane/40% isobutane technical grade mixture with a little pine scent added which is all the rage in Europe now. It has R134a beat all to hell and performs as well or better than R-12. In fact propane is added to R134a to make it (questionably) efficient! Explosivity is not as serious a factor as the R134a pushers would have one believe. Check it out for yourself. Compressor info will be appreciated.
