Wheel compatibility - 240 and 940 200 1989

I'm looking at buying a set of snow tires mounted on Volvo OEM 15" rims that came off a 940 (I would be buying the wheels anbd tires). The seller assures me that they will fit on a 240 (mine's a 1989), but I wanted a second opinion before driving 3 hours to get them. Does anybody know if these will fit?
