940T-please someone help me im bawlin crying 900 1991

i bought my 91 940 Turbo a year ago but when i lived in las vegas and drove it here to kentucky 3 mths ago-i always noticed it used a whole lot of gas-i mean way too much but i never noticed it leaking too much -just a spot here and there. But lately when i turn off my car after driving and get out of it i smell gas. This morning on my way to work it was freezing outside and i left it running while i pumped the gas. after paying when i came outside, there way a puddle about 2 feet wide underneath the middle towards the front and it was dripping out pretty fast. I really dont know much about cars though and a man told me it could blow pretty easy with any kinda spark. Im not paying a volvo dealer to fix it. So could it be a busted gas linee or where maybe ive hit something and cracked it somewhere and what kinda parts do i need to fix it? Im sitting here crying my eyes out -i already had to call in to work today. if its easier and someone knows alot about this my messenger screenames on yahoo is sickgirlnlv and on aol messenger its sourpussnlv. please someone help i would so greatly appreciate it more than anything! -Sarah
