Weak 88 760 turbo?

Hi all,
I looked at an 88 760 turbo with an automatic. It has 200K mi and was crashed in the summer. The damage is only in the right front and would need a fender, hood and headlight assemly, the fog light is OK. On the test drive the car just wasn't very strong, no stronger than my 89 240 that is naturally aspirated with 250K. My question is do the turbo cars weaken over time more appreciably than the non turbo cars? I am mostly interested in parts from this to put in my 94 944, swaybars and the turbo setup mostly. The car drives nice and tight and the guy wants $800 and it has good snow tires on aluminum rims. The interior is pretty good too, blue leather seats. Would they fit in my 89 240? I am mostly concerned with the turbo.
Thanks for any thoughts,
Palmer
