Noisy new blower motor, tips? 200

My 1 year old blower motor (almost to the date) is getting horribly noisy. I am first going to attempt drilling into the blower box, and getting some oil at the pintle bushings on each end. What would do you think would be the best to absorb into the bushing area, and stay in there the longest? I want to stay away from any spray propellents because I would prefer a thicker lube, and I also don't want tons of excess in the area. I was thinking about getting a bottle of 0w40 mobil 1 synthetic motor oil... and using a syringe to get a dab on the shaft near the bushing, and while the car is jacked up on one side.. run the fan on low to get some oil up into the area that is noisy. This would be done for both ends.

First off... does anyone have a picture of the best place to drill/cut into the blower box to inject some lube? I would prefer not hitting the fan blades if possible

2nd... Why do Siemens blower motors suck so much wang?
