Oxygen Sensor question 200 1984

Hello -

Looking at the wiring diagram pictorials from the Volvo Service Manual Wiring Diagram manuals, the 1984 book does not show the 02 sensor having three wires, only one.

The 1987-1988 book does show the 3-wire sensor. The diagram is for LH 2.2. The 1984 is LH-Jetronic II, sometimes called LH 2.0.

The 1987 2.2 diagram shows the wires from the 02 sensor as SB(black) to ground, Y-R to main-fuel relay terminal 87/2, so that's probably the other side of the heater. The other wire, black-connector-green, is the signal to the ECU.

Hope this helps.

Bob
