Depending upon what part of Nashville you are in, there is of course Music City Volvo. I wouldn't recommend based on information provided by others. Based on numerous recommendations, the best in Nashville is Rod Kruse of Import Specialty. He has an extremely good reputation in taking care of his customers and knowing how to diagnose and repair. He works by appointment. His web site is:

As far as Volvo ealer mechanics, the best in my opinion is south of Nashville in Franklin...Darrell Waltrip Volvo. Go south on IH65 to the Hwy. 96 Exit. Turn left (east) and they are 2 lights down on the right (south) side of the road.

Another mechanic, that is very good and also located in Franklin, is Weurster's Garage. Mike Weurster specializes in Mercedes, Volvo, BMW and Jaguar. It is a family operation with his dad being the mainstay. He is an old German fellow and realy knows European vehicles.

I have use the ones in Franklin and am very pleased. They take care of our daughter's 93 240 and the spouse's '95 945 T Wagon. Hope this helps.
