Reminds me of the time I was building a house in White Bear Mn. and wired my doorbell transformer so I amplified the voltage rather than reduced it to 12. Blew the doorbell up first time it was pushed.
But for teh G-valve you can blow through it to open it. That will tell you side that pressure from the turbo comes in.
