HOW TO TELL AGE OF TIMING BELT? 200 1990

I recently got a 1990 240 wagon with 110,000 miles. I have no contact with the PO, but I did find a receipt for a timing belt from the local brick dealer's parts dept. dated about a year ago. I gave the dealer the vin# and he said it wasn't installed there.

Is there a way to tell if the belt is recent by inspection? What do you look for? Thanks in advance.
