Looking for advice on '63 P1800 for sale 1800

Hi there. I'm looking at a 63 P1800, AC, 4 sp for sale. All glass and body chrome molding are in good shape. Front bumper and grille missing, and rear bumper chrome plating is lifting off.

Overall body is primed and very few signs of rust except for underneath rear of both front seats floor pan, and the rust has won the battle with the battery "cage" and firewall. Owner says engine will run but fuel pump and/or line needs to be replaced. Master cylinder looks shot and brake lines will probably need to be replaced. Car has Recarro(Sp) seats.

Owner will take $1000.00. Is it worth the risk? Any other advice?

Thanks in advance.
